6 February 2025 We drove 30 minutes to get here, and once again, it was worth the drive. Make sure you make a reservation. 1 June 2024 This restaurant was once again.....wonderful in all aspects. DEC 2023 A delightful experience! I do not have one ill word for the evening. This steak house has it all. Decent parking, excellent outside neatness and upkeep. The first impression is one of an organization that has pride in what they do. The interior consists of very tastefully done decor. The low level of lighting matches the vintage ambiance of sports memorabilia displayed throughout the restaurant. There is authenticated history throughout the hallways. I loved my wedge salad. The NY strip was tender and flavourful, and it was cooked exactly as requested. The cheesecake was very good, but it did not scream anything above very good. Cheesecake affecianotos know what I mean. The service was as one would expect from a restaurant with this persona. The service was excellent, and it is my opinion that Maestros Steakhouse could learn much from this operation. Thank you for a wonderful meal, Alicia, and the entire team that provided us with this evening.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Made a reservation through open table, which allows you to indicate if you're celebrating a special occasion. We don't often treat ourselves to a nice steak dinner, and Sundance did not disappoint. Dark paneling and low lights with vintage decor made it feel like we were in the lap of luxury. Because we've been on a non -processed food kick (Whole30), a steak house is a great place to eat clean. They're known for their prime rib, and it was delightful. I was reintroducing dairy so I also had the clam chowder, the steamed veggies with butter and a baked potato with butter and bacon. The chowder featured a tasty broth with lovely creamy potatoes. The baked potato was perfectly flaky so that the butter soaked right in. After packing up half our meals for leftovers, they surprised us with a complimentary mud pie dessert for our anniversary. If anything was better than the food, it was the service. Our waiter was charming and helpful, and the other staff were very attentive to our needs for water and boxes etc. the meal was more than we usually spend for a dinner out, but it was definitely worth it for a special occasion

Prime rib did not disappoint! Our waiter was engaging and professional. He had lots of information on the area and also had a lot in common with our group from across the US, very knowledgeable person. If I am ever back in 6 will be dining here again.

This Prime Rib was ordered 10 minutes to kitchen closing time. They insisted it was fine to order that late. Totally certified Prime Rib experts because the staff was honest that they can't offer rare at that hour, but for sure a solid medium rare. It arrived with perfect consistency from edge to edge. Still quite tender and moist. The staff never rushed me. Even offered me to try the Creamed Spinach with Tabasco sauce. Which was an amazing recommendation. So good and added depth. One of the best Prime Rib establishments around! I need to revisit earlier in the day for a rare cut.

Have been coming here for years, this place never disappoints! Lunch the prime rib dip is a must, pricey? Sure but it is worth it. Dinner I always go with the prime rib, I have shared a few pasta dishes and fish dishes as well, all were great. Lobster bisque is my go to for soups. Apps you can’t go wrong with the potato skins. And of course dessert, the mud pie!

Came here for wife’s birthday and it was a good opportunity to dress up and have a nice classy date night. Prices are reasonable for a higher end steakhouse. Portions are big, taste is good! They even gave a complimentary cake slice at the end (it was massive!). The free bread was also delicious. Service was good! I would recommend this place and come again.

Classic steakhouse dining experience. Small interior gives it an intimate dining experience, but also it could get very loud and hard to have good conversations. Service was top notch, and the food was excellent. The prime rib and the clam chowder are a must-try. Small parking lot in the back, but plenty of street parking within a 5-minute walk.

Great American steakhouse. prime rib, strip steaks, lobsters, linguini, and more. delicious dushes, attention to service and presentation. the place to go in Palo Alto for special occasions, business dinners, and more. note: it's easily over 150 per person with appetizers, main course, side dishes, wine, dessert, coffee... but that's totally fine.
